PARKING
About two minutes from the main façade of the PNA, in Largo do Galo da Ajuda, you can park for free.
LIMITED MOBILITY
The PNA has a ramp providing access to the museum and offers two wheelchairs for use by visitors with mobility difficulties.
As the PNA museum has two floors, there is a lift inside to take visitors to the upper floor. In this case, visitors should alert the room assistant so that they can be helped to access the area they wish to visit.

The PNA museum route is mainly pedestrianised and involves climbing/descending two staircases. For visitors with reduced mobility, a lift is always available.

The Palace has lockers/cloakroom where visitors should store their belongings.
TOILET FACILITIES
The PNA has mixed toilets and a wheelchair-accessible toilet on the first floor of the Cortejo Staircase, next to the museum entrance/exit.
In addition to the staircase, the toilets are accessible by lift.

CONDUCT INSIDE THE PALACE
Children under 12 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult.
Photography is permitted throughout the Ajuda National Palace. Visitors may take photographs for personal use, although there are some restrictions, such as the use of flash or stabilisers. Video recording is only permitted with prior authorisation. However, photography is naturally subject to limitations, as the institution's priority remains the conservation of the spaces and works, the smooth running and comfort of the visit, and the safety of all visitors. Images are for personal use only, and the use of flash, selfie sticks, tripods or any other stabilising devices is not permitted. Visitors must respect the privacy of the Palace staff, who may not be photographed.
Helmets, umbrellas, or similar items are not permitted inside the museum.
Visitors are not permitted to leave the tour route, cross the barriers that delimit and define the historical environments, touch any objects, run, eat, drink, or smoke inside the museum.
