This autumn, Shine a Life invites young creators to immerse themselves in the world of
musical composition in English, in the heart of one of Portugal's most inspiring palaces.
Did you know that, over the centuries, hundreds of composers offered original scores to the kings and queens of Portugal? Many of these works are still preserved today in the Royal Library of the Ajuda National Palace — and now it's our children's turn to create something worthy of this legacy!
Over the course of a week, participants will:
• Learn essential songwriting techniques
• Explore their voice and real instruments
• Compose an original song together
• (Maybe even record their creation!)
• Present the final result in a mini concert
